Question Towing mileage
Interesting about the Oregon fuel. My truck is same as yours only an F250. My mileage is similar. Pulling 7,000 the best I can do is about 12. Did 2750 miles from L.A., up to Mt Shasta, then over to the coast before heading back and averaged 11.5. I suspect going up some of the hills...- Lindsey1953

what do i do
Mines an 05 with 33,000 miles on it. The transmission was replaced at 27,700 miles. Then the turbo went at 29,200. Then I purchased the extended 7 year 75,000 warranty. Replaced turbo
The service engine light lit up when pulling our new 6,000 lb trailer. We were only about 200 miles from home, so found a park, spent the night and drove back the next day. Took it to the dealer who installed a rebuilt turbo. Truck is a 2005 F250 6.0. We picked it up last night, drove it...- Lindsey1953

Extended warranties
Anybody have any experience wih FordWarrantys.com. I just bought a plan thinking I was buying from Ford Motor Company. They are an independent and claim to sell the same warranty backed by Ford.- Lindsey1953

1st Diesel
Lindsey1953 Just returned from Flagstaff. Average for trip (appr. 1150 miles) 16.75 not pulling a load. However, leaving LA was a three hour bumper to bumper ordeal.
