Hey Irish 4x4...the tailgate should fit no problems...its one of the direct swap parts...now with that step..not sure..that will be a trial and error deal, but I dont see why it wouldnt work.- Manual 2500

Ford recalls 37,000 SuperDuty trucks
Once they get all the reflashes taken care of, people can move on. Minor glitch, fix being applied, and life moves on. I wouldnt hesitate to buy one right now..since the flashes are being installed on any new truck built before it leaves the plant.- Manual 2500

Also you have to sign the paperwork with this special ink pen...the ink is invisible. Seriously though, it seems like they are doing what they can to get it out of the way and taken care of.- Manual 2500

Maybe Ford can install something like Kitt, and it will say...*Your Name* my butt is on fire..please assist. Seriously, I bet they will take care of it, and everything will be ok after that...hopefully. Everything is still in the teething stage. I dont think it should be called a failure as...- Manual 2500

All I can say is this...and I hope this wont be taken the wrong way, but you know, some people will drop this kind of coin on these trucks like its nothing. Most will deal with it as most do, financing and whatnot..but no matter how you get it...its a nice thing to have. Prices will reflect...- Manual 2500
