White smoke after EGR cleaning?

I got it up to temp. in the driveway and after a few minutes at around 3000 rpm the white smoke stoped but when I came back to ide it started heavy again. Also I noticed a sut and moisture spot under exhaust tip. Any help would be appreciated. 05 F350

White smoke after EGR cleaning?

After cleaning the EGR and chamber in resides in, Re-installed EGR properly and left it unplugged while starting up. Wanted to blow out any loose build-up before re-attaching the egr wire plug, I noticed an endless stream of white smoke. Is this the build-up just burning up (was alot of build up...

EGR Removal Help!!

Thanks to all for the help!I got it off. And installed a new one. Truck is back to running great. Not a drop of black smoke even on hard acceleration. THANKS AGAIN! TIP for others - A paint can opener works perfect for a small pry bar with channel locks.

EGR Removal Help!!

I am trying to replace my EGR Valve on my 05 f-350 6.0. I got the 2 bolts out but can not figure how to get the old EGR Valve off. I am having no luck on grabing it and twisting off. Is there a trick to it or do I need a tool? Any tips on re-installing the new one would be greatly appreciated!!
