Well, I noticed a nice large leak coming from behind the driver side front tire. Turns out the driver side facing line out of the brake booster is leaking. I put a wrench on it to make sure it was tight and it was, but I still could move the line a bit as if it's bottoming out in the booster...
As one of the newest diesel owners on the site, I can understand the debate. I traded up from an 06 F150 Supercrew to my 250. I tow my travel trailer at least two dozen times per year, which was enough to justify the extra expense of diesel to me to have the extra torque. Some would argue why...
After some searching, I found a few TSBs. Apparenlty they went from replace egr to clean to now back to just replace. :confused:
I think I'll call the local dealership to run down my options. I'll hope for a warranty freebie.
Okay, I got the dreaded EGR related DTCs today. Just ticked over 40K on the clock.
I've read about servicing and deleting the EGR altogether. I'm planning to keep everything stock for a long while.
As such, is this something I should plan to service on my own or would it be covered...

I'd like to add some of the window vent visors so I can ventilate the King Ranch in the heat without letting the rain get in. I understand they make an in-channel version of these instead of just stick on version.

Finally got to move up to the big boy table today as I traded in the 150 for an 06 250 with the 6.0L. I looked at both 6.0 and 6.4s and ultimately found a great deal on the King Ranch. The ride home from the dealer was great, but I just can't wait to...
