Brake Booster Leak
Well, I noticed a nice large leak coming from behind the driver side front tire. Turns out the driver side facing line out of the brake booster is leaking. I put a wrench on it to make sure it was tight and it was, but I still could move the line a bit as if it's bottoming out in the booster...- Mountaineer

Thinking of trading in your diesel on gas??
As one of the newest diesel owners on the site, I can understand the debate. I traded up from an 06 F150 Supercrew to my 250. I tow my travel trailer at least two dozen times per year, which was enough to justify the extra expense of diesel to me to have the extra torque. Some would argue why...- Mountaineer

After some searching, I found a few TSBs. Apparenlty they went from replace egr to clean to now back to just replace. :confused: I think I'll call the local dealership to run down my options. I'll hope for a warranty freebie.- Mountaineer

Okay, I got the dreaded EGR related DTCs today. Just ticked over 40K on the clock. I've read about servicing and deleting the EGR altogether. I'm planning to keep everything stock for a long while. As such, is this something I should plan to service on my own or would it be covered...- Mountaineer

What's the scoop on vent visors
Hello Gang, I'd like to add some of the window vent visors so I can ventilate the King Ranch in the heat without letting the rain get in. I understand they make an in-channel version of these instead of just stick on version. Anyone have any experience with this style? I'd like to have...- Mountaineer

Thanks guys. Day two was great. :sweet I'm still getting acquainted to parking and just the overall size. I tell ya, it's hard to wipe the grin off as soon as I start it up. Went ahead and had the front windows tinted to match the rear today. I suspect the UV is a killer on the KR...- Mountaineer

Well folks, I'm a lurker no more. :D Finally got to move up to the big boy table today as I traded in the 150 for an 06 250 with the 6.0L.
