    Diesel Power Magazine

I agree with the comments on the show trucks being on the magazine but they do provide a place for manufactures to display their products. Thanks to all for the kind words and the welcome back but let me tell you that you all would be so proud of the young men and women who sacrifice so much to...

    Diesel Power Magazine

I am so glad that you are finally receiving your magazine in Alaska and that you are enjoying it as much as I do. :D I have continued to find the latest issues here in Kabul with my only complaint being that I get so dang tired after reading the magazine cover to cover all night and then going...

    6.0 Horsepower and torque

Robert thanks for the kind words. By the way, I am a SeaBee in charge of rebuilding the Afghan National Police facilities throughout the country. The Army needed us to straighten things out for them.:D . In reality the Army and the Marines have had it tough here and in Iraq. Many guys go back to...

    2006 F-250 6.0L $$$$$$$$$

Yes the price that I paid for mine included my trade-in. It was paid off but needed some work. My KR is light years better than my F150 lariat was. More economical, more capbaility, and better value overall. Plus just love that diesel!

    2006 F-250 6.0L $$$$$$$$$

The price you are being quoted seems a little high, given that it is a buyers market especially for the big trucks. I did trade in my 97 F150 truck on what I have now, but with all the rebates and haggling over the bottom line price for the truck, I walked out with a $53K (MSRP) 2005 F250 King...

Whats an alternative 18" tire for the 2005 F350?

The Kumho site does not list the weight ratings just the load rating. You may have a point on the weight I know that jgarza250 just installed some on his truck though. The sizes are just right for our trucks and the tread patterns look like they would perform fairly decently. The cost is also an...

Whats an alternative 18" tire for the 2005 F350?

Hey all! I've been looking to replace my Conti's as well. I read an article that Kumho had two new 18 inch tires that would work on our truck, that just came out. I believe they are the Road Venture AT and MT but I do not remember the exact designation. They can be found on the Kumho web site...

Hi, new here and too Diesels

RickyD congrats on the new F250 for you and your Dad. Just like everyone else is saying, if you are impressed with it now, just wait till it gets a few more miles on it and you start improving its performance like so many others have done. I love this site because it is tailored for my specific...

Line-X before I install my new cap?

You will love the Line-X liner. I too was skeptical since I had a plastic liner in my previous F150. What a mess underneath when ever I peeked at it. Thank goodness for Ford having better sheet metal than in the past. On my new KR, I had the Line-X guy spray my liner in the week after I picked...

    Reverse vehicle aid sensor

On a truck as long as ours, the sensors become an extra set of eyes for you when backing up. I do not know how I lived without it on my F150. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. It goes to a solid tone when about 6 or 10 inches from what ever is behind it. It is indispensable!:sweet

    Headlight mods?

Hey guys, I never would have considered increasing the output of these lights by changing the harness. I will definately have to check that out when I get back. Does anyone know if the "gosracing" site is down? Tried to link to it but never could.
