Nice perf - but don't want a lot of noise

Summit, magnaflow, MBRP, bullydog have flow through design mufflers, you'd be surprised how much sound they limit without limiting flow

New guy looking to buy an SD, what to lok out for?

So buying a truck from a dealer they will be able to give me all the service records then?

^^^I suppose injector replacement on a 7.3 wouldn't be as easy as replacing injectors on an common rail gas engine would it? It would be a DD, and yes around here and where I drive they like to use salt a lot. Its at a dealer so I'd image they have some sort of service records for it.
