Cruised around the lake checking out anything that changed, ate lunch in the cabin, then caught a few crappie, all in all a fun day with the wife and kids! I ordered a DVD manual off ebay, going to wait till it gets here to see what I can do with this mod....if anything.- ScottK

Careful driving them screws too deep Bruce, might get into the bottom edge of the screen. How about JB weld? I use JB Kwik weld alot, other than that a plastic solvent might work, and then really baby it. Would magnets affect the TFT screen? I know it's a no-no with CRT tyype sceens as it...- ScottK

The way I see it, we either drill out the harness we have onboard now, or buy one with the wiring already there. Het Tex, You're right, just buy the wire, but for a factory look and no drilling, you'd want to buy the harness. The harness would be a way to do this mod and not alert the media of tampering with the PCM if you bring it in for warranty work. I don't know which way I'll go, but I don't want...- ScottK

Been posting on TDS on this as someone over there asked. Just had a reply that the X has no PTO options, but if a wire is ran to the PCM, it will work like a charm. I just wonder if I'll have to add it to the harness and connector or if the wire is hidden there....lurking.....- ScottK

DVD Hey Dave, Thanks for the info. So to understand you, the PCM for the Excursion, E and F-series vehicles are the same unit according to the technical manual. Does it have circuit (wire) 322 on the Excursion PCM? I believe the color code should be light blue/yellow stripe? If so...- ScottK
