    I now have 126,000 miles on it and on the hiway if I keep it below 75 mph I can get about 18 mpg out of it. Combined city/Hwy I can get 16.5 - 17 mpg.

    I'm not sure what either of those are, I am just using what was in it when I bought the programmer. I think now you have taught me that there is more I need to learn about this thing!

    No I didn't, the Mini Maxx reads the EGT's from my factory computer and displays them on the screen.

    The programer i went with is the H&S Mini Maxx. With the stock exhaust and DPF still in place and the stock air box, I am running it most of the time in the "Mild" setting and seeing 2 to 2-1/2 mpg better.

    I finally got the programer! Already pleased with the investment! Planning to get the entire exhause system replaced this week! Going with a 4" turbo back system and no DPF!!

    All sounds like great advise, but I still havent done anything with the exhaust yet due to Christmas shopping taking priority over my truck modifications for now. Still thinking very seriously about it though! The hump I am really trying to get over is the cost of the programmer with the DPF...
