    Go with the BTS valve body... you can swap it yourself in 20 minutes working slowly.

    Overdrive light flashing

    Check your alternator and batteries... the flashing OD was one of the problems I got when mine went... speedo would jump all over the place until I got up to 30 mph... then it would level off and act normal.

    Brian's Truck Shop offers a valve body upgrade - firms up the shifts. Cost $225 plus shipping and refundable core. It's easy to install and makes a big difference. It took about about 2 hours from start to finish.

    Help! Clueless, truck dying??

    Check the wiring harness from your IDM to the valve covers. Also check the connectors and wiring harnesses(to glow plugs) under the valve covers. One bad connector can shut down half of the motor and leave you running on 4 cylinders.

    2000 p./s rough running

    One side of mine went out - shut down all four cylinders on the right side of the block. Truck wouldn't go over 40 mph and when it shifted it was like being run over by a semi. Replaced both harnesses and all of the glow plugs and it's been running like a scalded dawg since.

    Exhaust enhancement

    The best place to put the Power Tube is in the downpipe. You have to cut a section of downpipe out and put the tube in. I have one in my truck. MBRP told me installing it in the downpipe will give you the best performance, but it can be installed just after the downpipe as well.
