I have found that the Ford OEM cameras are indeed good cameras...they are expensive but I have also found that with cameras you get what you pay for. I have found that the inexpensive (~$25) cameras on Ebay have a sh!ty image. There may be good ones but the few I tried sucked. Steve

You do not need Sync for the camera portion...any head unit capable of displaying external video can be adapted to work. In fact it does not even need to be a head unit any monitor will work. Steve
