Oil leak at rear of head

Pulled the Junk off the first intercooler pipe and...
i did that a few months ago, when i had plans on Thermal Wrapping the pipes. never got around to it, and now i have two naked pipes. however i did not notice any difference in sound. it does look nicer, smoother i think. i used gasoline to help get the gluey crap off. the powerstroke in the commercial industry (IHC T444E) is considered to be good for 400,000 miles if properly maintained. the thing you have to worry about is the automatic transmission, which won't last that long. other than that, make sure the frame is still in good condition.- Strokin_it7.3

do you mean a 3" long piece of 4" diameter pipe? be careful, because the plastic can warp under high underhood temps, and can possibly leak dirt past it, or it can stay warped. the best way to do it is a piece of 4'' exhaust pipe, i used aluminized and it works great, no worries of the plastic...- Strokin_it7.3

take into consideration when painting, that the air passing through the hot side intercooler pipe can get up to 300*, but i dont know if the actual aluminum gets that hot. you probably have insulation on the hot side pipe. it is a PITA to strip off. however i did, and am going to thermal...- Strokin_it7.3
