Your remove them by threading a large tap into the cup and attach a slide hammer to it and yank them out.     Ok, here's what I came up with after many, many calls.... These are the engine serial numbers that have different front covers. I could not get the years just the Serial numbers, sorry. 216545-375548 (I assume 96-03) 216544 & Below (I assume this is the 94-95) Hope this helps a little. And...

    I think (and I do mean think) that some of the late 95's had the updated front covers on them. I'll try and do some research to find out if there was a cut off by Engine Ser # or not. JIM
