My f-250 is getting hard to get into reverse, low and first gear. I had a slave cylinder go bad when the truck had about 10k or so on it.. i am now at 160k..
i can also hear a squeak as the clutch is released to pull out.
Am i getting close to needing a clutch or maybe just another slave...
Now that I have gotten an AFE stage II put on the truck, running with a 4" exhaust w/ no muffler and a SuperChips programmer. The air flow to the motor is a new noise but that would be normal i would think. But when running at 50-60 mph, and it's time for the motor to load up some, it sounds...
Time to replace my front rotors and pads...who has the best deal on slotted rotors and pads combo???? should one swap out wheel bearings while the truck is in the shop with the brakes off?? I have no current bearing noise or vibration, just trying to do all i need to for reliabilty..we are also...
I have a 02 F-250 with 7.3L, it has 4" turbo back straight pipe exhaust, Superchips 1795 Max Micro tuner. Getting ready for AFE or Tymar air intake.
Question is: have we come up a with a reliable set up that will tow a trailer with 4-8000# loads and get descent fuel mileage when not towing...
