    this truck has steel tanks front and rear. I've never heard of any type of coating inside any of these tanks ever. I've opened up enough of them over the years and have never noticed anything interesting inside other than basic steel sheetmetal.

    don't know what year 6.9 you have but you might want to change over the oil cooler assy off the 7.3 onto the 6.9. this is for just in case if you have to service it in the future. the early 6.9 oil cooler assy is obsolete.
