Since most X's tip the scales at over 7600 (my 4x2 weighs 7800 full of fuel), that means your 35'TT only weighs something less than 10,000 :dunno
Can that be true???
Ya, I know, they're a little pricey. But I've learned a valuable lesson making it to as old as I am. Ya get what ya pay for. Still holds true these days.
I try to keep it as close to 65 as possible. Actually I tow by the tach. 2000 seems to yield the best power vs. mileage. Anything over 2000 and the mileage starts suffering. Too much under and the power starts to suffer.
That's why I went with the TTS brand. It's totally compatable with PATS and DOES NOT disable it, or cause any other bazaar stuff like flashing theft light.
And PATS is still intact.
There are lot's of folks that have figured out how to get their chips to work with PATS, and not cause any problems. Just going to take some searching.
TTS has always been my favorite. Never the slightest problem.

Something tells me you have NO experience in surface mount soldering/desoldering or much of any kind of soldering for that matter.
Tell ya what, after you try modding yours, and ruin your IDM trying, let us know how expensive it is after that.
