Did all the X owners take the summer off? I haven't seen new posts for some time now. I have been shopping for oil filters and just got my front receiver hitch.

Anyone out there?

I agree it has been very quite compared to last year. Did everyone sell the X's? Are they running so good that nobody posting any questions. We can also post the good stuff about our X's in here also. :sly

Off Topic: I was at the dentist yesterday in the X, the dentist pulled in driving his X and when I left there was another patient there in an X. It was cool 5 vehicle 3 of them were X's. Of course mine looked best hands down.

For Oil filters I have been using the K&N, there about 14 bucks at Autozone and you cant really see a difference but I think in the long run it will help:cowboy:

Thank you for the K&N oil filter suggestion, the shopping I was referring was wiping out the Checker/Schucks stores with their 2 for $7.00 special.

I think I have the next dozen oil changes taken care of and am not stopping now. Fram filters in case you were curious. I have to remember some for the other vehicles.

Nice to see two others bodies were alive out there.

Hello out there.....

Alive & busy! 2 for 7$, That's incredible! I'd buy 10, maybe 20. Actually I'm looking strongly at Oil Bypass systems, the oil prices are getting high, maybe going longer with Synthetic & Better Filtration is making more sense, cents.

Hey Snowman, I understand your feelings about the by-pass. That's why I went with the Oilguard bypass filter. I'm still stocking up on the Fram filters though, good through 06-24-07.

If I ever get this beast broken in I will be using the eight gallons of synthetic Rotella I purchased.

Hello Folks, Still here just busy moving to San Antonio. Thought I had a job but guess what. Still nuttin'!
Truck is running great. Filled up with B5 the other day at Loves and seemed to run better and a lot quieter. Other than that no new news.

The further and further we get away from the final year build (2005) of our X the less and less posts will be made on all forums unfortunately.

Our Excursion is due up for a trans fluid/filter change, maybe this Sunday I'll knock it out:sweet

It actually seems that the further away we get from the final build year that there will be more questions and more posts.

I don't even have 12,000 miles yet so I will have lots of questions. I wouldn't have 2WD struts on my 4WD lift gate if not for all of you. My noggin appreciates that. I have to install my front receiver and plan on re-engineering my fog-lights so I can still use them. I need to do the fog-light mod so I can use them with the high beams (doesn't make sense practically, but I like lights!) I need the wiring harness upgrade for my headlights. Heat extracter hood (works or not but I like the look!) Donahoe Racing suspension kit (all springs), coolant filter, blah, blah, blah.

I like what I've read here, and look forward to seeing even more. Join in...
