If you mean the stock factory system, I don't know? With my Kenwood flat screen system with the GPS module and TV module I can switch back and forth between TV, GPS or DVD when driving and with the dogs in the back seat, they love it. You can also select different audio sources from what you are watching too.

I am refering to the Ford factory installed dvd navigation radio system. It seems to me that if the navigation system needs a dvd to access the information to work that a dvd movie may play. My truck is on order. I just can't find any info about this factory installed system anywhere. Thank all that are helping.

ok i cant find anything....YET...but i KNOW there are 3rd party mfg's
that make modules that allow you to use the factory (up front)
monitors to display movies.

its a big mod for honda vans...where previously (from the factory)
you could only show movies on the REAR monitors.
