Well got around the other day and found this air kit for the truck seems like a decent kit. Went to a dealer got a steal of a price on it plus its a great kit. Fits like factory equipment..... very very pleased superior sound of turbo whistle, can hear the intake sucking/swoosh sound when in the pedal, and it made the truck have a little more pep in its step. I like that this kit has mounts to factory location, two intake ports fender/ram air snorkel, uses factory air guage and air temp sensor.

Heres some pics of the install

I picked mine up for $264 with tax got a hook up.

I picked it due to the nice install and factory style look very clean.

i also recently purchased this intake kit. very happy with the end result. i have to say the egt's are lower at cruising speed. a word of warning when installing the box. be careful around the p/s resevoir. but this is a great product

:dunno:dunno:dunno so does anyone know if the enclosed intake is better when compared to the open style.

Sucking cool air from outside is better than warm air from under the hood... However I was quite satisfied with my $40 homemade tymar...... and too cheap to spend $240 and up for a cold air kit.
