Hello. I need some advice on what wastegate and turbo wheel. What is the difference between BD wastegate and Banks besides the price. Also on a turbo wheel. Any suggestions. What is max turbo boost for a stock turbo 2002 7.3.

I held Banks and Dieselsite wheels next to each other and saw no difference. I ran both. I still could not tell any difference. Price was the biggest difference. I am going to buy the Turbomaster from Dieselsite. It is sapposed to help controle the waste gate better than stock. So for waste gate controle that would be my opinion. Stock boost??? Around 19lbs. After you get a tuner on there you can max the turbo as high as 32lbs(reported). The safety net is around 25lbs boost. Good luck have fun:cool:

Were did you find this Wastegate? Do you have a link thanks

I am still running stock waste gate and having blow off at 21PSI no good. Buddy of mine says that he can get me to 35 PSI safely. He is a PSD mechanic at his Dad's shop here is Willis. I'll do a write up after it is done.

:sorry...that's a no go....stock bearing setup is only good to around 25 psi. Maybe with aftermarket compressor and exhaust housings you could get away with a little more but it still won't last long.

Its not a wastegate...It is the acuator. It controles the wastegate. The one at extremediesel is not the same as the Turbomaster. Check the turbomaster out at dieselsite. Glad I could help with the wheel...did not mean to confuse with the wastegate.;tu:tech
