You'd probably be alright leaving it...just be sure you've got something with you so if it DOES rupture, you're not stranded... Make sure you insulate the hose from abrasion..

I hooked up regular oil pressure gauge to my truck. I did use 1/8" copper line instead of the nylon. 65 psi is not high pressure. It's working for me.

iirc,the fitting on the fuel bowl is NOT NPT, its a o-ring seal type.

there is a writeup on putting on a guage somewhere that had all the bits and pieces listed. the info might be in the regulated return wiki too.

EDIT: 1/8" NPT to #4JIC in the wiki page,

You'll need a fitting that's oring boss to go into the filter housing to whatever is on the end of your hose. I don't remember what the o-ring size -4 maybe. ITP sell an adapter to NPT I think.

:dunno I carry the O ring plug fitting that >was< in the filter housing.. in my bed box. (along with all the Other OEM plugs'n fittings from other Mods)
