Besides Ford, where can I find the fuel filters for the 6.4L Powerstroke (FD-4609)?

Or, is there a Ford parts place online that offers discounted pricing?

Thanks

If the 6.4 filters are anything like the 6.0 filters, then the last place you want to buy filters is Fleetfilter and/or Wix. Especially for the oil filters.

ETA: Oil filters are the same for the 6.0 and 6.4, fuel filters are different: Page 76 for fuel, page 78 for oil: http://www.thedieselgarage.com/uploads/POWERSTROKE_MANUAL.pdf

They look the same as the Motorcraft, so might be ok.

I found a place online that sells Motorcraft filters for 45 bucks. I bought that and some Ford fuel additice (approved for the 08 models).

It was from KmansParts.com.

Now that I found a couple of these places online, I'll start ordering ahead of time.

Hopefully in the future the newer ford fuel filters will find there way to WalMart, Autozone, etc.

I called the local Ford Dealer to day and ask how much for an oil change for my 08 F250. The price was 70 bucks. I ask about changing both fuel filter they stated it was 89 bucks. I then prices the fule filter at the dealer and they stated they could sell them to me for 60 bucks each. So how is it it only cost 89 bucks for them to change 2. Can this be done cheaper. I have went to 1 locale mechanic and he was alot higher.

Check my link they sell Motorcraft (Ford) Filters. This is for 2 filters the upper in the engine and the lower in the frame rail. I wouldn't use anything but Ford/Motocraft! ;tu

i know this is an old thread but thats a bargain price for an oil change. Dealer down here wanted 125 for oil change, oil, and filter. I went to walmart, bought three jugs of 15w40 motorcraft powerstroke oil, motorcraft filter and was out the door fr 55 bucks....
