hey guys lookin to get headstuds on the truck kinda shopin around to see where people got them done and how much within 3hrs of the DFW area i talked to bill at dfuser and emailed tony wildman but any other ideas would be great dealer wouldnt do it and now its out of warranty so time to do it thanks-cody

The only place I go and would recomend is Diesel Dynamics in Joshua. Their phone number is 817-558-3673.

You only want people that know what they are doing to work on your truck. This is the only place I would take a 6.0 in the DFW area.

Call Diesel Dynamics. They will give you a quote. The price will varry by state and place.

Click on the vendors here on this Forum. DieselSite and ITP. One has ARP'S and the other has A1 Technologies. ARP's are about $150. less. I've never heard of any failures w/ARP's. The peace of mind after getting studded sure is nice.

I live in VA but i have not had it done, but I have found the most reliable diesel mechanic wants 3,000 for the install and A.R.P. headstuds, this place is really reputable and stays busy so I guess that is reasonable. Then again that is the only place I have priced.

It is around that price. But you are in a different area, so that may be a good price. Hard to tell. Call the dealership and see what they want.
