I'm looking in to buying a 1989 7.3. What are some things motor wise that I should take a good look at? The guy said that it starts kinda hard when it's cold outside, but when he plugs the block heater n it starts good. I'm thinkin weak GPs but I also know that that's kinda the nature of these beasts. Any info would be great!

Did you pick it up? I'm looking at a 90 7.3 that I have to put the engine back together and hopefully you can shoot me some pics.

you got bad glow plugs.

X 3, these engines play hell on glow plugs. My 7.3 would go through several a year.

X4. My 91 usta go thru'm too. I usta carry spares .. just in-case.
