How much of a difference do really think there is going to be in MPG in the new 6.7 vs 6.4? The reason I ask is I am thinking of getting a 2010 F-250 because its the last year of the 6.4. I think most of the issues have been worked out and it doesnt need the DEF. Also I dont like to buy the first year of an engine so I would then have to wait for the 2012 model. If you were me would you wait or just buy the 2010 6.4L??

:drive What he says is double digit percentage.......10 percent is double digit but if you get ten MPG that means dump 50k on a new truck and you'll get 11MPG.....if my maff is right.... They shed 600 lbs and if that's why, ............i just lost 25 lbs so I guess i'll get better mileage.......Is a nicer looking truck than the 08

I think they meant double digit percentage point mileage increase. Plus you will be burning a little urea as well.

i think they probably mean double digits on top of the price tag! i will wait until 2017, not jumping into 2 more trucks- late 07 flame thrower/sick of the problems and trade to 09 causing going broke to Ford Credit situation again!!!! let this one rot! i will buy bondo and spray paint as long as i can keep the straight pipe, the heck with clean diesel, there is a no win situation and an empty wallet here!!!! And the double digit increase is probably based on an 08 450 or 550 with 4:11 gears or lower, compared to a 2011 F-250 with at least 3:55 gears or higher. come on guys how is double digits possible with the EPA? I i love ford but they do mislead us, and i am not jumping into another new truck based on my experience with the 2 6.4s i have painfully experienced. wish i kept the 98 7.3! she wasn't pretty but she ran like h*ll!!!!!!

The EPA does not have anything to do with trucks like the F-450 and above. They are considered Heavy Duty.

ya, i understand, just a crazy example of something to give double digits. i just have to see it to believe it. and i am sure there will be probably no way to mod them!
