Maintenance schedule

Does anyone have a link to a comprehensive maintenance schedule? I searched with no luck.

Or any suggestions?

My truck:
early 99 6spd, 2wd.
Bought at 170K (looks like it lived rough before me) w/ CAI, 4" exhaust, TS multi-position programmer with unknown tunes ( I keep it on the 50hp setting I think)
I changed the oil every 5k since getting it, replaced the fuel filter that is on top of the engine, 1 injector, alternator, springs/shocks, tie rods/bushings/align, new tires. Still needs a carrier bearing and clutch work, and that expensive azz vacuum pump..
Now i'm coming up on 185K, what would you do to it for maintenance?

BTW, is there a water separator on this model that i should be draining occasionally?

wow, ruff life indeed. fuel filter on top of the motor is the separator when you drain to change the filter you are draining the water out. it also has a light to tell you if it needs to be drained (most likely if you filled up with bad fuel).

your rear end needs to be changed to synthetic, grease your split/yoke when changing carrier bearing. grease your front wheel bearings, and get ready for some rust.

Oh yea, It's already getting rust around the rear wheel wells and door bottoms. That's it for maintenance though? not too bad.

Give me a shout if you want to change the diff over to synthetic or anything else for that matter.

I'd like to do my differential and trans. What do i need?

if you're having rust problems, look into a paint called: POR-15. you can find it at NAPA and some hardware stores, it makes a great undercoating and has a great warranty against rust and water intrusion. i used it on a project off-road buggy about 5 years ago, and its still holding up after a ton of abuse. GOOD LUCK!
