Are our trucks under cruise control recall?

Just heard on the news, Ford is doing a recall on cars and trucks for faulty cruise control issues.

Does anyone have more info on this?

I believe that some of them are..
you can also log on to NHTSA.gov and check there
you'll need your VIN number off your door jamb or registration

My 2K was effected. It's about inspecting the dis-connect switch on the brake pedal and a Look-see under the hood, where the CC wire(s) join a wire loom.. to check for any fluid/oil saturation and install a fused wire connector thingy. Took about 20-30 minutes. Most of that was doing the paper work.... waiting on the computer to do it's thing.

No Worries on mine..cuz it was R & R'd on a recall several years ago :dunno

Mine was under the recall. You'd think that the dealership would know about it. They didn't and finally, they discovered what it was about but didn't have the parts.

Just got my letter from ford in the mail, no problems with my 2001 either. Stupid recall that effected billions of suv's and light trucks, you think they would fire the people in the cruise dept.........

Got my recall notice in the mail today.

Still got the recall notice for the CPS laying on the shelf under the end table.

Just did my recall, it’s just a new wire harness with a fuse in line .took longer to pull the truck in and open the hood
