That was nice!!!! Anyone ever remember seeing a "boaterhome" about 20 years ago? I saw one that was the strangest thing. It was a Ford E-350 with a houseboat added to it. It was very long, but the rig could be backed into a boat ramp, slide the houseboat off into the water. Then load it back onto the E-350, and you had a motor home. I was selling cars at the local Ford dealership when it came into our shop. The guy driving it let us walk through it. I remember it was really nice. Here's a link to it: JDK Enterprises Inc. President Lyndon Johnson had an amphicar on his ranch in Texas. There have been stories told about how he would take guests for a ride, speeding toward the Pedernales River that runs through the ranch. Just before he got to the river he yell out something about the brakes going out just before they'd hit the water. Several years ago, while on a tour of the ranch, I remember seeing the car, along with several other vehicles that he used.
