A little snow in Baton Rouge

I know it doesn't compare to you guys up north or in the midwest but it was a big deal for the folks around here. Bout an inch and a half by the end of it. And then it all melted away pretty quick the next morning.

There was also snow in North Louisiana. My mom's house is in Winn Parish, and they had snow on the ground yesterday. She didn't get to see it as she's at my house in the Dallas area until after Christmas.

Amazing weather for the Gulf Coast.

There's a real good chance we may (MAY) get some snow here in Central California tomorrow.. on the San Joaquin valley floor.. hasn't snowed here in 30 years.

Wunder what Al Gore thinks about this stuff..

I'm hoping that mid to southern cal does'nt see snow bigjoe, I'm in oakland and looking for a way out of here that does'nt involve chaining up. I know how cdot and chp get when the white stuff hits, people get nuts around here.

I hear ya 'bout cdot & chp !!

When I was otr, or need to go east in the winter.. I go south on 101 to I-10 to avoid a known storm.
Or.. SR-58 outa Bakersfield.. you only have 'bout 30 miles of hills 'til yer in the high dessert (Mojave), then I-40E or I-15N @ Barstow :dunno

We have snow all over the East Bay this morning. I heard Oakland and EAST has more than else where, especially along Hwy 24 going to Walnut Creek. Snow in the Santa Cruz mountains but not down on the flat. Going to be a crazy day traffic wise...
