Break-ins!

Man, I tell you what... I just had my truck broken into and my $1000.00 Kenwood stolin. This is my second Superduty that has been broken into the same way...takes about 5 seconds to jam a screwdriver into the door lock, bend it down, breaking the plastic trim around the lock, and the door opens. That's the way the thieves break in Superdutys....fast and easy..everytime. I was wondering what anyone else might be doing to help prevent this?

I did a 3 fold attempt to stop thieves, Before Jimmy Jammer I picked up a sheet of galvanized steel, 1 foot X 1 Foot, Cut it in half, Cut a hole for the door mechanism, used orange rtv to glue it to the inside of the door, then installed my Jimmy jammer. The extra layer of steel help if they decide to bust out the entire plastic assembly. 3rd piece ot the puzzle was the "No Start Relay".

had this happen to my dads truck.. he put JBweld in the locks... just used the remote to lock and unlock....

I played ball in memphis and this happend.. they broke into my dads truck and stole a video camera.... my dad wanted to come home (missouri) and rig the center console with battery acid to where it would blow up when they opened the center console and drive back for a night... they prolly wounldn't get anything and would walk around blind for the rest of their lives... other than the damage to the truck it seemed like a good idea LOL

unlawful entry to vehicle forfeits your life
lord have mercy cuz i wont!

and a 45 cal or my preferred a shot gun, more messy!

and jimmy jammers and the extra metal which i didnt think of but will be doing now
