Exhaust UPGrade Massachusetts

Any one know what the regs in Massachusetts are for a turbo back 4 inch exhuast... does the cat get deleted.... and are the smaller muffler's ok...

Sorry for the odd question but I dont want trouble at inspection time...Cheers :dizzy

I don't have a cat, just a high flow muffler and i've never had an issue getting a sticker

My 2001 has a 4" turbo back to 5" Aussie stacks with no mufflers and I got a sticker without an issue. Depends on where you go also, truck shops are less likely to fail you if it's illegal.

my stock 2002 exhaust didnt have cats.

I think only the 6 speed and California trucks had cats in the superdutys

Mass has almost the same requirements as California

My 01 manual didn't come with one.
