I'm going to be adding a leveling kit to my F350, and have been shopping around. I'm not sure if I ought to go with the urethane spring spacer at the top, or go with the bolt on aluminum spacer for the spring perch at the axle. I don't think its necessary to re-align afterward, correct? The only thing that gets changed after the lift is the caster angle slightly. This should just be a simple job I can do in my garage, but want to see what other folks think that have done this before. Let me hear some thoughts...

I've used both, they are about equal on install time. I've used the 2" Fabtech kit on my 05, and my new truck I have the Daystar 2.5" kit. I got both from 4 Wheel Parts. They each took about 2 hours to install by myself.

When I first bought my truck, I put on the Daystar urethane spacers and they worked great! I didn't have to realign and the truck drove fine.

You will need longer front shocks with them also.

My stock front shocks fit fine with a 2.5" Leveling kit. I have since replaced them with Bilstein 5100's just because they ride so nice.

I did a 2" aluminum spacer on the bottom, no realignment and you're supposed to be able to use the stock shocks up to 2.5" lift. Worked great with no issues.
