I think I will pass on putting it on my truck, I see them around here from time to time. Just never cared that much for the looks, it may be cool up there in NY state. LOL

Welcome to SSD.com, hope you come back often.

I am looking at doing some camo accents on my F250 with this type of material, has anyone worked with this before? Is it hard to install yourself?

As far as Vinyl Accents go ?

I recently had all the Graphics removed & replaced on my 5r, by a local automotive Graphics Design shop. The actual work was done here at the house.. I was able to see the whole process (and do some of the prep & application).. from start to finish.. Good experience....learned allot.

IMO, the important requirement(s) before applying the new Vinyl material, is the surface prep. You need to have a CLEAN, SMOOTH surface, free of ANY & ALL, dirt & grit.... (in my case, old adhesive too) down to the smallest of particles. Ambient temperature when applying it is important too.... so the material can be "Worked"... around & over, body style surfaces.

Going Slooow.. working a small-ish area at a time.. using the soft plastic squeegee tools, as you peel the backing off.. is important also.

it's really not that hard, but the devil IS in the details.

If you think you have the surface clean, clean it again.
This includes removing wax, etc.

and be prepared to do quarter-square inches at a time, as the backing will release with some difficulty.

Did you watch the video on their web site? I thought they were going to show picks of their product on some vehicles. All I could see were some shiny wheels and lights in some fields. Did notice a few patches of wooded area in the middle of some driveways though.
