the power steering??? I've had a few problems recently where both go out at the same time. Usually just for 1 stop/turn and then everything goes back to normal. Fluid level is fine. Belt is still there.

Any ideas?

Yes. Your Brakes & Power Steering both get their hydraulic pressure (Power) from the power steering pump.

One thing you can try ?

Turn the wheels FULL left, Then Full right, 'til you here the Squeal.. Bump it against the squeal 3~4 times.. then check the fluid level.

You may have some air in the system.. doing the above, will purge most all of it.

Do it again, in a couple'a days ?
