Bigger lift...?

I have a Edelbrock 4" leaf spring lift. I can check with them but I thought I'd post here and see if anyone had any experience with these (or similar) lifts.
I'm considering adding 4 more inches of lift. Would I be able to do this by adding more leafs??

Yes but the ride will be horrible. It'll be like you took out the springs and replaced them with cement blocks. You'll have no flex if you offroad. Better off buying new a new kit. You'll need a bigger steering drop, pitman drop and longer shocks. Plus and this is a rule that when you remove u bolts from lifted trucks you replace them with brand new ones because they were stretched with the original installation and stretching them twice is never good.

You'd be a lot better with replacing the springs. The add-a-leafs will the ride horrible, like no suspension at all. Keep in mind with that much lift you're going to have drive line angle issues.
