That's not far at all from CC. I may have to stop by and see her

oh, well that makes sense...lol... you got $13k off the F250. and another $8500 down from your trade.

I tried to by my Raptor out there, and the same day I asked em about a new F250, they didn't have a good price. We went back out to look at a new F150 for a friend and the same guy quoted my a better price on the F250. I said "thats what I offered you a few months ago and you said you couldn't do it"...

Seems like all the dealers around here just assume when you drive up in a new car/truck that there is no WAY you are buying another one.

I've bought 3 new Fords in the last 18 months (two in the last 4 months) and none of em here in town. It would be easier if I could.

At Sames Crow here in town, a salesman met us on the lot. He told me to go home and look at the inventory on line, come back and he would quote me a price. I told him to get fukked. lol Same guys that never called me back when I told em to call me back on the Raptor on their lot. 5 days later I pulled up to the lot in the new Raptor, still looking for another truck, and they wouldn't come out of the dealership.

heres a shot of the Raptor:

That is one SICK truck, absolutely beautiful! Yeah, I know how it goes. When I bought the F-150 I had 5 ford dealers on the phone offering them $37,500 out the door for it when it had a sticker price of $43,700. 3 of them told me that it couldn't be done, Sames Crow (then Crosstown Ford) came back at $39,000 and the salesman at Access Ford told me he would see what he could do. He called me back about 15 minutes later and asked me when I would be ready to buy if he could meet my price, I told him I would drive up from Kingsville and purchase it (around 20 minutes), HE PROMPTLY HUNG UP ON ME. I figured that the sales pitch was over when he called me back about 3 minutes later. He again asked me if I was really ready to buy, when I told him to give me 20 minutes to get up there and I would write him a check, HE HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN!

OK, this guy is just playing me right?? He called me back about 5 minutes later and told me that I had a deal. I drove up there and within an hour was driving out with my brand new 2007 F-150 King Ranch 4x4.

I will never again pay anything near sticker and if they don't want to deal, I will simply get in my truck and leave.

It's pretty bad if a salesman won't talk to you just because you're driving a new (or nearly new) vehicle. I heard a story once about an older man who owned some department stores in Louisiana (small towns without a Sears/JCPenney, etc.). He went to a Cadillac dealer and walked around the lot for awhile and no one would wait on him because he didn't have on a suit and tie. Several salesmen were sitting around joking about "that old man didn't have any business looking at cars that he couldn't afford". One guy recognized him and said "That guy could buy this dealership if he wanted to", so a young salesman ran out to talk to the old guy and he said "you all wouldn't wait on me so I'm going somewhere else.". On the other hand, you have the salesmen who badger you to death when you're only looking.
