I found a passenger side bracket from a junk yard for $25 bucks. The holes are offset, so I had to cut the bracket off that connects to the firewall and re-weld it to the bottom of the tray, but it fits like a glove! Just another option for the future! Oh and why are junkyard people so grouchy and rude! I called 11 junk yards in the area and maybe 2 or 3 were actually nice to me. The other people were short with me and rude. One guy told me a battery tray in an F-250 or F-350 wont work in my truck for the same year. Another guy said no he doesn't have it and good bye before I could say anything else. I was like WTF.

If you worked in a junkyard all day looking at dirty car parts and mechanics would YOU be smiling? HAHAHAHAHA. Not to mention the people who KNOW they have the part but want a brand new looking one for $5.

Try seeing their side of it. ( Damm Im getting old with that comment. Or is it wiser from talking to these guys? Hmmmmm )

Hadta throw this in here Toobs

They're that way cuz the General Public.. alwayz wantsta have something to say.. about the PRICE.. of a part that came off of a Wrecked/Totalled/Burnt out vehicle... especially if it's a part that is no longer available.. New.

I have good friend* in the "Auto Recycling" bidness.. He sez: If the part comes off of a Car or Truck thats over 10 years old..... The customer almost wants HIM, to Pay THEM... to take it off his hands. If it's Less than 10 years old.. they think it should be 80% off the New part price. Sooo, He "reads" folks, and applies the needed attitude ... which Sadly.. haz to be..Purdy Dang Grumpy, most of the time.

He has a box by the counter that sez: If you don't want the part at our price ? Put It Here. Someone might be along shortly that needs it.

Keeps his big 'ol smelly Dog, "Carb".. in the office. Sez Carb keeps folks "Gentlemanly".
