AFE sells good filters! If I was going to an aftermarket filter, it would be AFE. Many people here are running them and without problems.

I've got a S&B cold air intake and so far i'm liking it.

I also have theS and B intake on my truck, love it. The guy who sold it to mm a tually talked me out of a higher priced unit which he also sells, he stated that the S and B flows the same. Made a difference, but the real difference that came was with the DPF and CAT delete and H and S programmer. Unbelievable now. Good luck with your endeavors. Happy motoring.

Got a question about ordering an exhaust with bungs or without. Do I really need to order on with bungs? Why would I need bungs? Does the factory egt sensor go in one of these?

If you take the factory exhaust off the sensors just unplug,the sensors stay in the factory pipes, just be careful not to damage them. You dont need the sensors in aftermarket pipes, you are tuneing it also arn't you.If you take the DPF and Cat off and just put the sensors in the aftermarket exhaust you do nothing but throw codes, you did not mention about tuneing

Yes I'm going to tune with an h&s mini max. I was looking at which exhaust to buy and had a question about the bung/no bung thing. And you answered it for me. I'm doing a 5" flo-pro or diamond eye with h&s mini. I'll do intake in a few months when I save up some more money. I'm looking for better fuel mileage and that sweet diesel sound. I miss it.
