Loss of power

OK, so I'm driving down the road and I felt a shudder. After that I had acceleration but a noticeable loss of power. I came to a stop and started over. It accelerates but not at the rate as it did before. The boost gauge is showing boost (about 1/2 on the meter). Motor seems to run OK and the tranny shifts ok.

Turbo problem? :dunno

Check yer Intercooler Boots ? i.e.; 1/2 the boost.. loss of normal power. You may have a split/cracked boot, or one has come loose/partly disconnected ?

Resolution:

Dealer replaced an EGRT Sensor per TSB 11-6-15. I have been Googling all over trying to find TSB 11-6-15 to see what it is all about. Service Writer didn't appear to really know what this sensor does. I like to understand what failed and how it caused the symptom that I experienced.

Anyone have a link to the TSB?

Cleaning

You guys are all correct, there is a TSB for that. They take the sensor from the exhaust, clean it if possible, if not replace it. I asked the service writer also what location this was in he had no idea. I have a DPF delete pipe on with all the sensors and wires just wrapped really well incase I ever needed to put th stocker back on. Believe it or not I havent had an issue yet. I can tell you whatever they did was right, truck ran well again. So I am to assume that senso must be either back by the turbo, or on the down pipe somewhere. If I find it I will let you guys know. what i have been told is this:

Last winter I had an issue while in Texas where I the check engine light came on. Apparently the sensor in the exhaust AFTER the DPF was bad and not telling the computer to clean the filter. Since I was over 50K miles that was no longer covered by the emission warranty. He told me there was 2 before the DPF and 1 after. If the ones before the DPF had gone bad it would have been a warranty item under the motor.

This issue was that truck went into limp mode and finally the Check Engine light came on while in PA. The dealer in PA found a bad sensor before the DPF. Since i am under 100K miles, this one was covered under warranty.

So I have replaced 2 of the three sensors. Just waiting for that one to go bad too. If it is gonna go bad, I hope it happens before I go over 100K miles.

My truck now sits at th local ford dealer. They tell me that the oem computer is bad and they want to ref lash it but will only do that if I bring it back home and put the DPF/CAT back on.
After talking to H & S from my tuner, they are telling me that if I drive the truck for 200-300 miles, the codes will go away. Ford handled all the other DTC's already. They cleaned my EGR & EXHAUST PROBE SENSOR. They said it now runs, no black smoke, but still has 2 turbo codes, again according to H & S, those will go away after 200-300 miles. They stated that the tuner is learning my driving habits, and once it understands my habits the codes will go away. That's where they get the 200-300 miles. I really would hate to install my stock DPF-CAT pipe, but ford says I have to in order to ref lash the ECM, , and H & S says don't worry about it, just do the mileage.
As usual still confused.
