truck will not start. engine turns over sounds normal but will not start.
i have codes via my edge tuner but i'm not sure where to start. it's showing 16 of 17 codes.
P0046- turbo/super charger boost control solenoid circuit range/performance
p0261- inj. circuit low cyl 1
p0264- inj. circuit low cyl 2
p0266- cyl. 2 contribution /balance fault
p0267- inj. circuit low cyl 3
p0270- inj. circuit low cyl 4
p0273- inj. circuit low cyl 5
p0275- cyl. 5 contribution /balance fault
p0276- inj. circuit low cyl 6
p0278- cyl. 5 contribution /balance fault
p0279- inj. circuit low cyl 7
p0282- inj. circuit low cyl 8
p0366- crankshaft position sensor a circuit range/performance
p0341- cam position sensor (cmp) circuit performance
p0611- fuel inj. control module performance

i wrote the codes just as i read them and in the same order. not sure if the order it shows them has anything to do with everything. leading up to the truck not starting at all it was hard to start in the morning but once it started it would run fine. that went on for a couple of days. then on the day she finally didn't wake up i remembered that my tuner reads codes!
wher do i start?

How old are your batt. Have you had them each tested alone? If not test them, also check the batt cables see if there loose and clean. If the batt are good test the starter. These diesel motors have to spin fast to fire off.

replaced them around Feburary of this year. cables are OK. i feel you on these trucks needing to spin fast to fire. but the truck will fire like it's gonna start but then dies. when it first starting acting up it would actually stay on for a quick second then shut off. i'll check them when i get home.

This looks like your FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module) is gone south. There is a test to check it out, but I don't know it. All of the Circuit Low indications and the P0611 indicate this.

that was my first thought but since it's also throwing the cam and crank sensor codes. would a bad FICM cause it to throw those codes?

Well, all of these together are telling you something. But exactly what is the key. This is where a good mechanic can sort it out. I don't have any training on diagnosing these PCM's. I do have a scanner, like you do, that will give me the codes, but no real information.

i know all of the codes have me a little freaked out. just trying to figure out where to start. i wanted to get a feel for what you all might think before i get corn-holed by a mechanic. at least this way i have a little understanding of what is going on. thanks for your help.

A computer will never tell you that it is bad. It will tell you that everything else is bad, but never it self. There are some shops like Power Hungy in GA that can reprogram the FICM and make your truck run a hole lot better. You may want to look into it.

Have you tried unhooking your tuner? It may have screwed up on you
If that doesnt work i would suspect the FICM
The FICM boosts voltage at the injectors from 12v to 48v so if it is screwed up and not putting out the proper voltage it will never start

The ficm on my 05 has quit twice. When it does there is no way it will start
