I'm looking to get my Wife a new car. She currently has an 07 Expedition 4x4 Limited. I'd like to get her a new Expedition, but the 2012 is pretty much exactly the same as hers. Anybody know any inside info as to if Ford plans to update the Expedition's? I REALLY like the looks of the new Explorer, but it's just too small for us. Any other ideas?

Anybody intersested in an 07 Expedition 4x4 Limited? Its White Platinum Tri-Coat with every possible option! 85,000 miles, extra set 0f 22" wheels with Nitto 420's

Take a look at the Flex, you wouldn't think they have much room but when we bought my wifes Limited in 2010 we looked at the Expedition, Explorer, the Honda Pilot and a couple Toyotas. None had the room like the Flex does. I am 6'4 and can sit in the back seat no problem, even with the front seat back all the way!
We have the naturally aspirated V6 but it is available with the Eco-Boost V-6 (only option we didnt get). They are also available as a Platinum edition now.
We have had it over two years with over 50,000 miles and have had zero problems besides normal wear items likes brakes and tires.
We would buy another in a heartbeat.

The flex is a nice vehicle. I'm not a fan of the new explorer they are effectively a taurus station wagon. but then it depends on what your wife uses her car for; If your wife likes the current one and wants newer then I'd tend to go with what you know will win or put anther 50k on the one you have now.

I'd expect a redesign of the expedition shortly after the F150 gets another facelift. they aren't going to change tremendously because it is such a successful one that keeps selling.
