well I changed it to the hottest setting so I'll try that for a couple tanks. took it out yesterday and ran it at 100 mph for 15 min. and 85 for another 25 min. we'll see.

I bought my truck three nights ago and I already had my truck go into clean out mode! damnit! The question I cant seem to find a straight answer to is if I buy a tuner and exhaust am I going to be able to pass emissions still and will my reliability stay the same or get better?

Dogman is correct, and your warranty will be void if you add exhaust and a tuner. With the cost of these trucks I would not do anything that would void you warranty. Ford and the other automakers are very strict on keeping them stock.

YES you would benefit with all of what you are talking about. This is YOUR call and YOUR truck. I don't know if Wisconsin tests or not and I don't know if your truck in under any warranty, but YOU do. YOUR choice.

I'd talk around with some PSD owners in Your Local Area. See what they are doing.. and/or.. have done.. that won't violate Wisconsons Smog checks.. to a point where it might work for you.. and go from there ?
Post up some of the [specific] mods here for some input, if you like ?

Our friend has a 6.4 and he put a tuner on it and he said it really woke the truck up and gets better mpg. I dont know if he put exhaust on it yet.
