looks like some lettering stamped around the base by the key ring? what does it say?

Does it have a bunch of pins in it? It looks like one of these security "keys" that you have to put into an "outlet" that lets you start and drive the truck.

The "spiked" ends fit into your hand crank for lowering the spare tire, the other side is the "Keyed" side, with out this you would have to cut your tire down to get at it..
