I'm not new to diesel trucks, was an owner/operator of a Kenworth cabover big truck. She was the "Norma Jean" named after Marilyn Monroe. The truck had Imrun custom paint, thirteen speeds forward, two reverse, a "Michigan Special". Own a 2009 F350 6.4L crewcab, while bone stock, it's a pig at 8.5 MPG. I'm about to change that shortly! welcome3 Fireball57. I drove a KW with a 8V92TA and 13 speed tranny. I could get 3 gears in reverse; lo, dir, dir-OD. Good luck on your mileage. Several dealers here have tuners and the like. :thumbs

Kudos to everyone! Thanks for the much appreciated welcome for all! DaveBen, I hear ya on the 3-speed reverse on his big truck. My "Michigan Special" had 40,000 pound axles and "spiked fuel pump" On a Caterpillar 3406, pushing about 415 horses with a Jakebrake for those steep mountain passes. Just got over the ReGen on my 2009 Crewcab, bonestock except snowplowing pkg, Lucas oil and PowerService-finally 18.221 MPG!! Gotta keep the foot out of the turbos. Thanks, again
