I'm running Cooper Discovery AT3 on my truck in roughly that size 315/75/16 and in the 10k ish I've put on them have been very happy with the tread wear and road noise or lac there of, not to mention they were about $30/tire cheaper than the standard BFG AT.
My brother has put them on his '99 SD in a 285/75/16 flavor and he has said that he was rather surprised with their ability off road in the mud of GA red clay.

I am running Cooper AT's and I like then. Mine are not the size you want, smaller 265's.

My 150 is running on Michelins but when I had the 02 250 7.3 PSD I ran mostly Firestones. On both trucks, ran the "standard" size.

I am running 17 in Hankooks on my 2006. The wear on them has been great, but I am picking up a little road noise now that I don't care for.
