SuperDutyDiesel.com Giveaway contest!

Yep, I do own the other forums you mentioned. I am also not a huge "organization". Its just Andy(BIRDMAN), Eric(Griffin, my brother), and me(Bryan) that run these forums. I started all this on my own then added the other 2 to help me. I am not like the other companies out there. I take pride in all the forums I own and I am on them everyday striving to make them better. Do I have ads on the forums, yes, but most of them are just for guest. If you signup on any of my forums, majority of the ads go away. Then if you post 50 posts or more, they all go away. I am not like all the other "Companies" out there that own countless number of auto forums and expect members to become supporting members to remove ads. Just be active with the 50 post limit is all I want. Your concern with the dark background on my dark forums is being worked on. I am having all my forums reskinned with a light color theme for those that do not like dark themed sites.

I hope you are not upset at the fact I own a network of forums. I believe I have done alot for this site to try to bring it back to its glory days and plan on making more improvements to make it very active and striving forum again.

My statement had nothing to do with the other forum that was running the same giveaway. I said it because I noticed a huge activity bump here with members and post count. Nothing more. The giveaway on FordFullsize.com was the first one I have ever did and it seemed to work well there. I wanted to give it a try here and of course I wasn't sure if it would work out here, but so far it has.

My question is, what is wrong with a guy starting a forum network? It probably started as a single forum for which he was an enthusiast, and then grew into a job.

These prizes still cost a "pretty penny" no matter who buys them. But the difference is it is an investment. If he didnt have the network, there would be no funding for these giveaways, and the site would not come back from the grave for the enthusiasts who enjoy it.

Seems to me that someone just has a bitter taste in their mouth.

It's call entrepreneurship and I have no problem with it. I come on here to BS with you guys and gals when there here. I'm not going to bash shaggy on owning more them one site too. There is no sites on the list I want to look at anyway or that conflicts with this site that I can see. I have you guys to fun at. Plus it a free site no cash needed. Now if that changes then there will be some talking. But until then I'm good. Plus if there is any changes Shaggy would let us know. Right shaggy .

Sure is! Although we didn't meet the 1500 post minimum requirement Shaggy asked for during the contest, we will have it anyway! You guys did a great job maintaining activity on the forum and there are enough posts to make this a fair giveaway. I will begin drawing the winners shortly, stay tuned!
