Have to replace the upper and lower ball joints on my 99 F350. I have always heard that Moog was a top runner, but yesterday, my local NAPA dealer said he had a pair that was superior and came with a lifetime warranty. Anyone have any experience with the NAPA brand?

Just want to make sure I am getting a quality replacement ball joint that can be greased.

Thanks

Moog. Don't forget to grab some low profile 90 degree zerk fittings as well.

NAPA's ball joints are made by Spicer. I'm going to give them a spin. I have to replace mine now.

Not to scare you away from NAPA joints but they replaced some on a 2002 F-350 at work and they were so tight you couldn't keep it in your lane. It seemed like it leaped side to side. Replaced them with OEM Ford and everythings good. Ford dealer said it happens, but I'm sure they want you to buy Ford parts. Good luck

From working in the parts industry a really long time almost everything napa sells is from china. Just make shore you get a grease able joint and use a synthetic grease.

Guys.. everything anyone sells anymore is made in China..
you'd almost be disappointed if it wasn't..

the reason I was considering them is,
I've replaced the ball joints on my truck twice now, and it needs it again.
So that's one set of Ford OEM's and two sets of Moogs in 190,000.

Averaged out, the Moogs are not lasting as long as the OE's did.

My truck has 190,000 on it, I don't drive it every day anymore, the OE's lasted 70k, the Moogs averaged 60k per set..
