Congrats!!!! That's the way it usually goes. You search and search with no luck then when you get a job, there's another offer as well. Good luck!!!!

The company I got on with put me through orientation then let me go. It felt kinda personal...

Regardless, I plan to show up next week with uniform in hand and return it along with some other stuff and be professional just to show them they lost a good employee.
I heard from my old company. I am in the process of being rehired. It is hopefull that I will be fully reinstated to my old position which was EMT/FTO. They dont need FTOs right now, but I could sure use the pay! :)

sounds like the pharma industry around here..
One minute, they're announcing an expansion, and by the end of the day they're laying off 500 people..

I got word from my inside man that my application has been approved by Operations and has been sent to HR for processing. Word is they want the deal done by next week so I am inside the 30-day window and they wont have to treat me as a new hire (Orientation, training, etc etc...) and they can just put me back to work. Which I prefer.
