Just hitting 125,000 km on my 2011 F350 and had to change the DEF pump. Total cost $1400. They claim it doesn't fall under the drive train warranty. Has anyone had an experience with this.

I had one replaced at 23,000 miles on my '11 under warranty. Drivetrain warranty usually only covers the big major components.

Too bad. If it happens again, I will likely go with the delete kit. I have already changed our 2 NOX sensors as well.

Unfortunately, that warranty is over. Hoard to understand why a NOX sensor is still covered when a DEF pump isn't. Both are related to the same purpose.

I would think that would be covered under emissions but you are probably over on miles for that to be warrenty.

:bs Go as High as you can go.. Above The Dealership, through FOMOCO, to see if you could get that $1400 back... or at least Part of it... for the vary reasons you mention.

125K is just a number (?). In 2+ years.. Emission components shouldn't be going South on a $40K+ truck ?

Jus' say'n.
