In this video I go over a rash of new all too common low mileage issues happening on the 6.7l 2013 and newer causing the trucks to shut down. This can ruin a family vacation or worse delay a delivery of what your hauling as I know allot of these trucks are used as cross country transports. I get more and more into details as I go on, it is just something owners need to be aware of.

THANKS !!! VERY good info to know !!!

Will/would using a fuel additive that bumps the #2 ULSC diesel Cetane level up (for a cleaner burn) help to keep this EPA driven crap from happening ??

I think I see where you are trying to go with this. NOx is a byproduct of combustion. A bigger Air Filter will not help Joe.

:lmao

No..... I was just thinking more air, under load demands (towing/carrying= more heat) >might< make for a [better burn].. reducing NOx, and not tripping the D*&N limp/idle mode. makuloco is speaking to the 013/014's but... makes a 012 body wunder ?

My 012 hardly ever does a DPF burn since I did the aFe thing.. and run a good dose of PS in every tank.. :dunno

Jus' say'n

From what I heard Makuloco2000 say, your 2012 is good in this department. You should not have that problem with yours ;tu
