Question Glow plug issue

The easiest way to tell which side is #1 through #4 is to look at the block and see which side is further forward. That is #1. It is always been on the passenger's side, even on every gas motor that I have worked on.

I bet you are looking at Firing order and not the Ford Numbering system. If you look at the GLOW plug Control module wiring you should see Even on one Head and odd on the other.

I just replaced the Glow plugs on the drivers side due to a Check engine light that came on a while back with codes for the Even numbered Plugs. The harness was ok and so was the gasket. The glow plugs came out no problem. I replaced plugs, wire harness and gasket with for OEM.
Cleared the codes and all is good.
I thought I would give a update on the numbering so someone does not make a mistake.

By the way still on original brakes , just changed the original batteries in '12, I use one of those CETEK chargers occasionally to regen the batteries on all my trucks.
